The standard MSZ ISO 45001 defines the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Management System in order to enable an organization to control risks and improve operations.
The requirements of the standard may be applied in such organisations, that want to establish an occupational health and safety management system to cease or minimize the risk of employees and other interested parties, who are exposed to occupational, health and safety risks related to the activities of the organisation.
Standards can be applied voluntarily by organizations indicating their commitment for the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety however, it is not a condition that this should fulfil simultaneously in the whole field of the activity. The systematic auditing also promotes the adequate operation of the system that provides information for the management at the same time.
